details
- There will be a class for decorated floats.
- Anyone wishing to participate in the parade MUST turn in an entry and narration form to the Fair Office by the Entry Deadline of Monday, June 10. Fair parade entries may be emailed to office@preblecountyfair.com or mailed to the Preble County Fairgrounds, 722 S. Franklin Street, Eaton, OH 45320.
- Entry forms received after June 10 will be placed at the end of the parade.
- Cash awards will be given to 4-H, FFA, FCCLA, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scout Groups exhibiting a float or vehicle in the parade.
- Entries will be judged based on educational value, originality, attractiveness and neatness, completeness, identification, and safety.
- Prizes will be awarded as follows: Floats: $40 - first, $35 - second, $30 - third.
- The parade will leave the starting point at 10 am, arriving in front of the grandstands on the Fairgrounds at approximately 10:30 am.
