add ons
Buyers can add on money to any junior fair market exhibitor that participated in the Jr. Fair Livestock Sale.
Buyers should complete the add-on sheet linked below with the Exhibitor's Name and Species and Entry Number, found on the lists above, and the amount of the add-on.
This sheet can be turned in with payment on sale day or can be mailed to the fair office.
Pre-Fair Add Ons
Please note that exhibitors may only sell one entry in each species and some exhibitors will scratch their entries and will not particiapte in the sale.
We can only process add-ons for entries actually included in the sale.
For this reason, it is best to wait until the official sale sheets are posted above to complete your add on sheet to ensure you are adding onto the correct entries. If you have a conflict and want to provide add ons before the sale, you may use the pre-fair entry list below and the sale committee will do their best to match your add on to the correct entry. If you provide an add-on for an exhibitor that does not perticiapte in the sale, we will contact you for your re-direction of those funds to another exhibitor or the Jr. Fair.
Forms should be turned in the day of the sale. If you are unable to make it to the sale, please deliver or mail to the fair office.
General Rules
- For an animal to be eligible to sell, the exhibitor must show in showmanship and the animal must be shown in its market class, unless a veterinarian excuses the animal from the show.
- Exhibitors may sell one animal per species for a premium bid. All animals that are eligible for a packer bid will receive a packer bid.
- The sale weight of animals will be determined at the weighing of animals on Friday before the fair. No re-weighs.
- A representative must be present with the animal at weigh in and it is the exhibitor’s responsibility to make sure the animal is weighed. If the exhibitor or representative is not present at weigh in, the animal will not show or sell.
