Entry Fee: $20 per head. All entry fees must be paid at the time the entry is made. Entry Deadline: Day of Show by 10 am

Rules and Regulations
- The ages of sheep are to be reconciled according to association rules of all the breeds.
- All entries from flocks known to have been affected with or exposed to any contagious or infectious disease within the past year shall be accompanied by a certificate signed by a regularly employed state or federal veterinarian.
- The management further reserves the right to take any additional measures prior to assigning entries to pens or during the fair that may be deemed necessary to protect the health of the sheep shown at the fair.
- No muzzles are allowed.
- All lambs must have lamb teeth to show in lamb class. Market lambs will be weighed on Friday following Jr. Fair lambs.
- All sheep must be shown to receive premiums. All entries must be shown in the name of the actual owner.
- All exhibitors must be prepared to show certification of registration if required. Failure forfeits the right to show or receive an award.
- The PCAS, Senior Fair board and Preble County Commissioners are not responsible for persons, animals, equipment or accidents on the grounds.
- No extension cords, fans, lights, or electric items over animals’ pens.
- All pens will be assigned. Pens must be kept clean during the week. Pens must be cleaned out on Friday by 10 pm. If pen is not cleaned, a fine of $50 will be enforced. The exhibitor’s sale check will not be released until fine is paid.
- No Bottle Feeding or drenching of any kind will be allowed at the Fair. If bottle feeding or drenching is found, exhibitor will be disqualified.
- Any sign of prolapse will not be permitted to show or sale at veterinarian’s discretion.

Tuesday, July 30The show starts at 11:00 am.Children ages 3 - 8 are encouraged to participate.
Preble County Market Lamb Born and Raised Class - Specific Rules
- The County Born and Raised Registration form must be completed in full, including signatures, and must be returned by date listed on form by 4:30 pm to the Preble County Extension Office.
- No late forms will be accepted. Forms will not be accepted at tagging.
- Forms must be filled out completely, including signatures, by the deadline.
- Animals without completed forms on file by the deadline cannot be shown county born and raised market lambs.
- All market lambs must be tagged at the May weigh-in (see rule #6 on previous page). Exhibitors may show up to 4 lambs in the county born and raised show. The lambs shown must be from those tagged at the May weigh-in.
- Only market lambs shown in the Jr. Fair market lamb show are eligible for the livestock sale.
- Only one exhibitor can be listed as the owner. Family or farm names are not permitted.
- The animal’s ear tag number must match this registration form at the Preble County Fair tag in or it will be ineligible for county born classes.
Preble County Market Lamb Born and Raised Class - Eligibility Rules
- Lambs must have been produced by a Preble County sheep producer. The project must be lambed in Preble County.
- All lambs must have a scrapie tag at county weigh-in.
- Market lambs must have a PCJF ear tag that matches this registration form. Market lambs without ear tags cannot be shown as county born. The lamb must also have a scrapie tag.
- The breeder must sign this form stating all information provided is true.
- Preble County Fair personnel reserve the right to verify eligibility.
- All Junior Fair rules apply.
