Rules and Regulations
- All Lactating Dairy Cow exhibitors must attend Quality Assurance. All Dairy Cow exhibitors must turn in a DUNF for each animal. (Refer to Junior Fair Livestock Rules under Rule Violations)
- It is desirable for exhibitors to wear white clothes, without advertising.
- Order of showing will be: Showmanship first, oldest to youngest, followed by classes for Guernsey, Brown Swiss, Milking Shorthorn, Ayrshire, Holstein and Jersey.
- In each class, the first place winners will compete for breed champion. Second place animals will be ring side.
- All mulch and manure must be removed from the barn before move out is complete.
- Cows will be released Thursday after the dairy portion of the Grand Showman of Showmen contest.
Dairy Product Silent Auction Rules
- Each exhibitor may contribute one consumable dairy product, no less that 1 pound of cheese, 1 gallon of milk or 1 gallon of ice cream.
- It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to acquire the item to be sold.
- Anyone planning to sell an item must complete the intent to sell form available at the dairy show or from the Jr. Fair Board Office. Please designate if the item is being sold by an individual or group.
- Buyers must register and pay the day of the sale.

- Junior Yearling Heifer - born March 1, previous year through May 31, previous year
- Intermediate Sr. Yearling Heifer - born December 1, 2 years previous through February 28, previous year
- Senior Yearling Heifer - born September 1, 3 years previous through November 30, 3 years previous (A freshened heifer will show as a two year old)
