Rules
- Preble County Agricultural Society Membership or Weekly Pass is required to purchase or apply for a camping permit.
- If you don’t have a camper placed on your site by 8:00 am Saturday of Fair, you will forfeit your site.
- Only one camper unit is permitted in each campsite.
- All campers must use approved food grade water hoses.
- No utility hook up is permitted prior to the Thursday prior to the start of the Fair.
- Cancellation of Campsite: REGISTRATION FEE WILL BE FORFEITED AND YOUR CAMPSITE WILL BE RENTED IF NOT NOTIFIED BY SUNDAY NOON PRIOR TO FAIR WEEK.
- Campsite must be kept clean. No dumping of holding tanks on the grounds.
- Wastewater pumping service is available at a nominal fee. (Check with Office)
- No one under the age of 18 is permitted to stay overnight without adult supervision.
- No campfires or open burning is permitted.
- Live In Livestock Trailers are permitted in camping area as long as living quarters are permanent and livestock quarters are clean. One car per site (no pick-up trucks permitted) - Room Permitting
- Hay or Straw is not permitted in any Camping Area.
- Identified fire lanes or driveways must be kept open at all times. (Vehicles parked in the fire lane will be towed at the owner’s expense) Vehicles must be moved for septic removal.
- Tents allowed in the Generator and Primitive Camping areas only.
- Camping area curfew is the same as Midway curfew.
- Subleasing of campsites will not be tolerated. Anyone caught subleasing (both parties involved) will be banned from camping in the future.
- Full and Partial Hook Up Campsite Permits must be paid by May 15th of the current year.
- No Alcohol, abusive drugs, inappropriate language, or improper behavior will be permitted on the fairgrounds or in the camping area.
- Camper waiting list requires applicant to purchase Preble County Agricultural Society Membership or Weekly pass and verify their waiting list status prior to MAY 15th of the current year. To remain on the waiting list, verification must be done EVERY year.
- Violation of any of the camping rules or law violations may result in the loss of camping privilege. This determination will be made by the Preble County Agricultural Society Board of Directors. Camping privilege loss will require the involved individual to be removed from the camping list for future years. Individual may reapply and be placed on the active waiting list.
- NO POP UPS IN EXPO OR HORSE ARENA CAMPGROUNDS.
CAMPING RULES FOR GENERATOR AND PRIMITIVE
- Only one camper/tent unit is permitted at each campsite.
- All lots will be marked by Wednesday evening prior to the start of the fair.
- Those interested in a generator or primitive camping spot must come to the Secretary’s office to choose your lot before placing your camper on the lot.
- The lots will be on sale starting at 8:00 am on June 3, 2024
- You must be 18 years of age or older to put a lot in your name.
- All regular camping rules apply.
- There must not be any generators running at any time in primitive campgrounds.
- Any person running a generator in primitive camping will be asked to leave the grounds.
